We are open as usual. However, due to the current Coronavirus situation, we advise patients if they have a high temperature and/or a new continuous cough or have been in contact with anyone with those symptoms. We will need to rearrange your appointment for 14 days. Our patients and staff’s health is our main concern, and we provide high levels of infection control at all times. We ask patients attending an appointment at the practice to keep family and friends accompanying them to a minimum.

The NHS is well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases and has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

Check online at gov.uk and at nhs.uk for advice on your travel and contact history and the latest COVID-19 information before attending the dental practice.

Do not go to a GP surgery, community pharmacy or hospital. Call 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people.

Everyone is being reminded to follow Public Health England’s advice to:

• Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, wash your hands, or use a sanitiser gel.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
