Composite bonding at Knighton Dental is a great way to improve the appearance of your teeth. It can be used to fill in gaps, repair chips, and change the colour or shape of your teeth. Knighton Dental offers composite bonding as one of our many cosmetic dental treatments.
During composite bonding, a tooth-coloured resin is applied to your tooth and then hardened with a special light. The resin is then shaped to match the surrounding teeth and polished for a natural look. Composite bonding usually takes one or two appointments to complete, depending on the number of teeth being treated.
On average, it can last between 5-7 years, with a variety of factors that can affect this, such as maintenance, oral hygiene, habits such as tooth grinding, plus more. However, any such factors that may increase the chance of problems will be picked up during your initial consultation and factored into our planning, ensuring you are in safe hands all the way through!
